HIKING
On this second day we will start the program with a briefing and then we will leave for the mountain where we will hiking from 1 hour until the the beginning of Canyoning. We will start the hiking trail at 650 meters of altitude, in a valley with a lot of endemic vegetation and a landscape painted of green and blue, with the Graciosa Island as a backdrop.This walking trail is the most famous in the Azores, which takes us to the mythical Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo.
CANYONING
When we reach the beginning of the Canyoning (300m altitude), we will take a break for lunch, equip ourselves and a briefing of our team for the procedures of safety and progression in the water line. We will start the second Canyoning of this program, which will take us to the sea, in a route of extreme beauty, cut into the slot of two mountains, where is the junction of all water lines this valley. They are 6 vertical to the sea, with the highest waterfall of 25 meters.
SPLELEOLOGY AND HIKING
At the end of this Canyoning, we will have to travel along the coastline to the mythical Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo (30min). In this paradise we will have lunch, but first you can take a sea bath in the lagoon of this fajã, where the famous clams are reproduced, which you can taste for lunch. We will also visit the Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo and the cave of Furna do Póio, before starting the walk (1:00 am) to Fajã dos Cubres where our transfer waiting for us.
